Niagara Falls, ON — August 7, 2025 – Detectives from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 2 District Street Crime Unit have laid drug-related charges following an active patrol in the area of Main Street and Ferry Street, after receiving community complaints about frequent drug activity.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., officers observed three individuals behind a commercial building in the parking lot of a retirement home exhibiting behaviour consistent with drug trafficking and consumption. Upon investigation, one male was arrested.
Lucas ORCUTT, 21, of Niagara Falls, has been charged with:
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000
During the arrest, officers seized:
38.5 grams of suspected fentanyl (estimated street value: $8,360) A cell phone A digital weighing scale $710 in Canadian currency
ORCUTT is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
