On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at approximately 8:45 am, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) uniform officers responded to the area of Scott Street and Nihan Drive in the City of St Catharines for a robbery. One Male Arrested in Historical Human Trafficking Investigation

In 2024, Detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Human Trafficking Unit (HTU) began a historical investigation involving allegations of human trafficking in the Niagara Region, with offences occurring between 2008-2018.
