Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Mischief Investigation – St. Catharines
On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, the Niagara Regional Police Service were contacted after two windows were damaged at the St. George Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Detectives with 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) Criminal Investigative Bureau (CIB) took carriage of the investigation and discovered that on Saturday, October 25, at approximately 12:30 am, two male suspects attended the church and placed face coverings over their faces before damaging two exterior windows on the church. Two Arrested in Human Trafficking Investigation – Niagara Falls
In July 2025, uniformed officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) and 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) began an investigation involving allegations of human trafficking in Niagara Falls. Detectives with the Human Trafficking Unit (HTU) subsequently took carriage of the investigation. As a result of the investigation, a male and a female were arrested. Read more…
