Since July of 2023, members of the Major Drugs and Guns Unit commenced an investigation into a male suspect in relation to the distribution of narcotics throughout the Region of Niagara. On December 2, 2023, at approximately 8:45pm, a member of 3 District (Welland/Pelham) Detective Office observed a red Hyundai being operated by a suspended driver in the area of Duncan Street and Lasalle Street, in the City of Welland. On Monday, November 27, 2023 at approximately 1:42pm, 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/Town of Lincoln) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service were conducting general patrol in the area of Viking Court and Olive Street, in the Town of Grimsby.
