Niagara Regional Police Service uniform officers and detectives assigned to multiple communities have been investigating a series property related crimes since January 10, 2022. The crimes include commercial break and enters and thefts of automobiles. The incidents have occurred in Grimsby, Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Thorold, and Niagara on the Lake. Read more…
At its meeting on January 27, 2022, the Niagara Police Services Board re-elected Regional Councillor and Mayor of Port Colborne Bill Steele to serve as Board Chair and re-elected Provincial Appointee Dave Eke to serve as its Vice-Chair.
