Drug and Weapons Charges in Niagara Falls Street Crime Investigation

Niagara Falls, ON – In the summer of 2025, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Street Crime Detectives assigned to 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) initiated an investigation into an individual selling illegal narcotics out of an address in the Main Street and Barker Street area in Niagara Falls.  On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, Street Crime Detectives assigned to 2 District executed a search warrant at that address.

As a result of the search, detectives arrested and charged Stephen DAVIS (45 years) with the following criminal offences:

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking fentanyl Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking cocaine Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking crystal Methamphetamine Proceeds of Crime Over $5000 Possession of Prohibited or restricted weapon (stun gun) Unauthorized possession of explosive (flash bang) Two counts of Failing to Comply with Release Order Disobey Court Order-weapons prohibition

During the search, detectives located and seized;

526 grams of suspected fentanyl 54.9 grams of suspected cocaine 28.8 grams of suspected methamphetamine $12,395 in cash A working stun gun An operational police/military grade flash bang

DAVIS remains in police custody and is scheduled to attend a bail hearing Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse, located at 59 Church Street in the City of St. Catharines.
