At approximately 8:10 p.m. on Sunday June 29, 2025, uniform officers from 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to reports of a serious motor vehicle collision in the area of North Service Road and Bartlett Road North in the Town of Lincoln.
Initial investigation determined that a white 2022 Hyundai Tucson and another vehicle of unknown make and model were travelling westbound on North Service Road. The Hyundai, driven by a 22-year-old male, collided with an oncoming black 2020 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The Tucson then left the roadway and came to rest in a nearby field. The other vehicle left the scene and continued westbound toward the Hamilton area. Its driver and vehicle have not yet been identified.
The 41-year-old male driver of the motorcycle and his 46-year-old female passenger sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported to an out-of-region hospital.
Detectives from the NRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit, with the assistance of the NRPS Forensic Services Unit, attended the scene and have assumed carriage of the investigation.
Police are appealing to the driver of the other vehicle, as well as any witnesses or area residents with surveillance, dashcam, or other relevant footage, to come forward.
