Police investigating rash of Grimsby car breaks

Niagara police are investigating a rash of car break-ins in Grimsby.

“Since January, of 2021, The Niagara Regional Police have been investigating several vehicle break-ins, in the Town of Grimsby,” said a police bulletin.

The investigation has revealed that one or more suspects are damaging random vehicle windows, and are entering the vehicle to steal items and valuables.

Detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service are advising the public to be vigilante about parked cars and recommend drivers do not leave anything valuable in a vehicle. They said also be sure to lock vehicle doors.

The investigation remains on-going by detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service.
