Suspect to Identify: Stolen Bike Investigation

In July 2025, detectives from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Street Crime Unit assigned to 2 District (Niagara Falls / Niagara-on-the-Lake) became involved in a Break and Enter Investigation which occurred at a residence in the area of Loretta Drive in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

On Saturday, July 12, 2025, at approximately 3:00 am, a lone suspect entered the garage of a residence through an exterior door and stole a bicycle from within. The suspect then left the area on the bicycle westbound on Loretta Drive.

The suspect is described as follows:

Male White 18-25 years old Slender build Medium length shaggy hair Carrying a “Champion” brand backpack Believed to have a tattoo on his left forearm

The stolen bicycle is a white Cannondale CAAD 9 Road bicycle.

Detectives are appealing to any member of the public who may have information regarding the identity of the suspect, or the whereabouts of the stolen bicycle. Members of the public are requested to review video surveillance footage from the area at the time of the incident, and to contact NRPS if any relevant footage is captured.
