As a result of continued investigation, Detectives with the Collision Reconstruction Unit worked collaboratively with the Office of the Coroner and Centre of Forensic Science in identifying the occupants involved in this tragic collision.
On Monday, July 28, 2025, notice of identifications from the Ontario Forensic: Pathology Service of the Centre of Forensic Sciences for the Niagara-on-the-Lake collision was received by detectives.
Out of respect for next of kin, police will not be releasing the identities.
Investigation into the collision remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 905-688-4111, dial option 3, extension 1009504.
Members of the community who wish to provide information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to people who contact the program with information which leads to an arrest.
