On Tuesday January 25, 2022, 8 District Grimsby uniform officers responded to a call for service at the Real Canadian Superstore on the South Service Road in Grimsby. Information provided was that there were two men acting suspicious near a car in the parking lot.

While three marked police cruisers were parked around the stolen vehicle conducting their investigation, a third person approached the vehicle. The man was immediately identified as being involved in the original suspicious activity complaint. He too was arrested.
