Two Males Arrested in Relation to Drug Investigation in Welland

In February of 2022, members of the 3 District Street Crime Unit began an investigation into the sales of fentanyl from a residence in the area of Lyons Avenue and Hagar Street, in the City of Welland.

On February 9, 2022, detectives executed a search warrant at the residence, where the two suspects were arrested.

As a result,  detectives seized:

$2,140 of Canadian currency 37 grams of fentanyl 337.4 grams of cocaine 2 grams of crystal methamphetamine

The total street value is estimated to be: $45,040. 

Tevin Simpson (24 years old) of Ajax, Ontario, was arrested and charged with the following offences of:

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule I Substance-Fentanyl Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule I Substance-Cocaine Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule I Substance-Crystal methamphetamine Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime Under $5000

Antonio Webb (21 years old) of Brantford, Ontario was arrested and charged with the following offences of:

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule I Substance-Fentanyl Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule I Substance-Cocaine Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule I Substance-Crystal methamphetamine Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime Under $5000

Simpson and Webb were released on a Form 10 – Undertaking with a future court date.
