The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Sexual Assault Unit continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding a sexual assault that occurred on September 5th, 2022, near Malcolmson Eco Park located at 325 Lakeshore Road, in the City of St. Catharines at approximately 1:00pm.
Detectives no longer believe there is an on-going threat to public safety.
While the investigation remains on-going, there are no charges expected at this time.
