On October 6th, 2022, at 4:42pm Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) officers assigned to 5 District (Fort Erie) responded to the intersection of Lavinia Street and North Street, in the Town of Fort Erie regarding a suspicious vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers learned the driver of a pick-up truck stopped at the intersection and asked a youth if they wanted a ride. The youth ran home to notify his parents and the driver of the pick-up truck left the area.
As no criminal offence has occurred, detectives are attempting to identify the driver of the pick-up truck to determine his intentions.
The pick-up truck is described as follows:
– Possibly a Chevrolet Silverado
– Maroon in colour
– 1998 to 2000
– 4 doors
– Distinct logo/marking on the driver’s side
The driver of the pick-up truck is described as:
– Male
– White
– Raspy voice
