14-Year-Old Arrested in Relation to Three Niagara Falls Robberies

Between 2:30am on November 19, 2022, and 7:00pm on November 20, 2022, 2 District – Niagara Falls uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to three robberies in the City of Niagara Falls.

The same suspect had entered a Niagara Falls cannabis store, vape store, and a variety store while brandishing a knife and threatening to injure store employees.  The suspect stole approximately $200 of merchandise.  No employees were physically injured.

2 District detectives were assigned to the investigations.   Detectives were able to identify a suspect.  On November 23, 2022, at approximately 10:10pm the suspect was arrested in Niagara Falls.

A 14-year-old male from Niagara Falls has been arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

Robbery (3 Counts) Fail to Comply with a Release Order

The male was held in custody for a video bail hearing to the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines on November 24, 2022.

The NRPS is prohibited from identifying the youth under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act of Canada.
