Detectives Investigating Following St. Catharines Incident

At approximately 8pm on Monday April 10, 2023, 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) Uniform Officers were called to a home in the area of Louth Street and Pelham Road in the City of St. Catharines following the report of a man with injuries. 

Officers responded along with Niagara Emergency Medical Services (NEMS) paramedics and located an adult male without vital signs.  The male was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

A short time later, 2 male suspects were taken into custody.

This remains an ongoing investigation by Detectives with the Major Crime Unit.  Further details will be released when appropriate to do so. 

At this time, detectives do not have reason to believe that there is an ongoing threat to public safety.
