Lincoln Armed Robberies Under Investigation

On November 1, 2023, at 3:45pm, 8 District (Grimsby / Lincoln / West Lincoln) uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to a report of two commercial armed robberies in the Town of Lincoln (Beamsville).

Officers attended two businesses, the Coastal Kitchen Bar and Home Hardware on King Street in the Town of Lincoln. The initial investigation determined that a male had entered the businesses within minutes of each and brandished a black handgun and demanded money. The suspect did not receive any money.  He walked northbound Central Avenue. None of the employees were physically injured.

Due to the direction the suspect walked from the scene officers attended nearby childcare facilities to ensure they were safe. Out of an abundance of caution the facilities went into a hold and secure status till officers could search the area. 8 District officers supported by officers from the NRPS K9 Unit and Emergency Task Unit searched the area and did not locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as:

White male Approximately 35 years old 6 feet tall Approximately 175 lbs.
