Jane has been located and is safe. The NRPS would like to thank the media and the public for their help in this matter.

Original Release –
Officers from 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person Jane Buchanan.
Jane was last seen on October 15, 2024 at approximately 5:45am in the area of Fourth Avenue and First Street Louth in the City of St. Catharines.
Her means of travel is believed to be by foot.
Jane is described as:
White female Heavy build Grey hair Unstable walking Wearing all grey
The police and Jane’s family are concerned for her welfare. Anyone who may have information as to her location are asked to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1024326.
Members of the public who wish to provide information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to persons who contact the program with information which leads to an arrest.
