Since October of 2024, detectives with 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln, with the Niagara Regional Police Service began an investigation in relation to two people conducting thefts of wallets in the region.
Investigation revealed that a male and a female were attending grocery stores and stealing elderly peoples wallets while they were shopping and using their credit cards.
As a result, detectives were able to identify two suspects.
Zbignew PAPIS (33 years old) of Mississauga, Ontario is wanted for the following offences:
Theft Under $5,000 Use credit card within Canada Theft under $5,000 (2 Counts) Use of credit Card within Canada (4 Counts) Fail to comply with undertaking
Samantha PAPIS (28 years old) of Mississauga, Ontario is wanted for the following charges:
Theft Under $5,000 Use credit card within Canada Theft under $5,000 (2 Counts) Use of credit Card within Canada (4 Counts) Fail to comply with undertaking
