Update 1 – January 21, 2025
Detectives continue to investigate the robbery that occurred at Harmony Jewellers located at 37 Main Street West in the Town of Grimsby at 3:50pm on January 18, 2025.
On January 18, 2025, at approximately 4:25pm, the suspect vehicle involved in this incident was located vacant, by the Hamilton Police Service, in the area of Nugent Drive and Nash Road North, in the City of Hamilton.
The suspect vehicle is described as: Ford F150 Lariat Red outline around the F150 badging on the front quarter panels Aftermarket tires (rims are stock)
Detectives from 8 District (Grimsby/West Lincoln/Lincoln) with the Niagara Regional Police Service are asking anyone in the area that may have dashcam footage and/or home surveillance of the suspect truck and/or 6-7 suspects fleeing the area, to contact detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009341.

Original Release – January 18, 2025
On Saturday, January 18, 2025, at approximately 3:50 p.m., Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) uniform officers in 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) responded to Harmony Jewellers located at 37 Main Street West in the Town of Grimsby for a robbery that had just occurred.
Initial investigation determined that six suspects attended the front entrance of Harmony Jewellers. The suspects smashed the front entrance door with small sledgehammers and gained entry to the store. The suspects then used the small sledgehammers to smash several display cases. The suspects then proceeded to remove jewellery from the cases. The suspects then exited the store and fled in a vehicle toward Mountain Street.
The store was open at the time of the robbery, however, there were no reported injuries. The suspects are described as follows:

– Black shoes

The investigation has been assigned to the 8 District Criminal Investigation Branch. Detectives are asking any witnesses, or anyone with video footage to contact them at 905-688-4111, dial option 3, ext 1009341.
