Robbery in West Lincoln

On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 4:50 a.m., officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) were dispatched to an address on Canborough Road in West Lincoln near the Haldimand County border for a robbery that had just occurred.

Homeowners at that address were alerted to two suspects in the act of breaking into their vehicles. The homeowners went outside in an attempt to scare off the suspects. One of the homeowners was assaulted by a suspect, resulting in minor injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspects fled in a vehicle that was later determined to have been stolen from Hamilton, which they abandoned a short distance away. The suspects then escaped in a black Dodge Charger that had just been stolen from an address in Haldimand County. The Ontario licence plate on that Dodge Charger is CSFM 216. If anyone sees this vehicle, call 911 and do not approach the vehicle or its occupants.

The scene was held and processed by the Forensic Services Unit.

The suspects wore face coverings, and due to the dark conditions at the time, a detailed description of the suspects is not available.

Detectives are canvassing for witnesses and video footage. They are asking anyone who lives in the area of Canborough Road and Caistor Gainsborough Townline Road to check any available security footage. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact 8 District detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009341.
