Collision Reconstruction Detectives Investigating Fatal Collision – Pelham

On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at approximately 2:25 p.m., uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision in the area of Victoria Avenue and Canboro Road in the Town of Pelham.

The initial investigation determined that a collision had occurred between a motorcycle and a delivery truck on Victoria Avenue, just north of Canboro Road. The motorcyclist, a 40-year-old male resident of Pelham, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Detectives from the NRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit have taken carriage of the investigation. They are being assisted by members of the NRPS Forensic Services Unit. The investigation remains ongoing.

Police are appealing to witnesses and motorists who were in the area at the time of the collision and may have dash-camera footage to review their recordings. Anyone with relevant information is asked to contact the lead detective at 905-688-4111, option 3, badge number 1009170.
