On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at approximately 4:25 p.m. uniform members of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) assigned to 6 District (Port Colborne/Wainfleet) responded to the area of Forks Road near Mills Race Road in the City of Port Colborne for reports of a serious motor vehicle collision.
The initial investigation determined that three vehicles were involved in a collision. Five individuals required medical attention, with three of the patients being transferred to local hospitals and two of the patients being transported by Air Ornge to an out of region hospital.
The investigation is being continued by detectives with the NRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) with support from members of the Forensic Services Unit.
