Port Colborne – In July 2025, detectives from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Street Crime Unit assigned to 3 District (Welland/Pelham) became involved in a Break and Enter investigation which occurred at a residence in Port Colborne.
Several items were stolen including a London Blue Topaz ring. Detectives believe that the uniqueness of the ring would stand out and are releasing a photo of the ring to assist in their investigation. They are appealing to local pawn shops, jewellery stores or any other businesses that may buy and sell used items, that may have been approached by individuals looking to sell the ring.
