Niagara Regional Police is seeking a 27-year-old man with ties to Mississauga in a case linked to a Niagara Falls travel company.
Police say Ajay Aery of no fixed address is wanted in connection with a fraud investigation.
In August and September of 2019, a Niagara Falls travel business was defrauded in excess of $100,000 by a male suspect. Detectives say they want to talk to Aery, who is a suspect. They say Aery is also aware he is a suspect and is wanted by police.
Aery, who is a former Mississauga resident and has ties across the Great Toronto Area, is also wanted by York Regional Police and the Toronto Police Service for alleged fraud-related offenses.
Niagara Region Police has issued this request: “Anyone who may know the location of AERY is asked to contact their local police or Crimes Stoppers. The Niagara Regional Police Central Fraud Unit can be reached by calling 905-688-4111, extension 9245.”
