The Ontario government confirmed 185 new COVID-19 cases today in the province. Niagara Region reported 7 new cases over the three-day long weekend.
On Labour Day Monday there were 190 new cases reported in the province, with 3 in the Niagara Region.
On the weekend there were 158 new cases reported on Sunday in the province, with 2 new in the Niagara Region. And 169 new cases reported on Saturday for Ontario, with 2 in the Niagara Region
Ontario has now had 43,161 cases, while 38,958 of those have been resolved. There have been 2813 deaths. 52 are currently hospitalized, 15 are in intensive care, 9 are on a ventilator.
The total number of confirmed cases in the Niagara region is now at 948, with 868 Of those cases, there are 16 active cases and one active outbreak. There have been 64 deaths.
