Sure Dolly Parton is famous. But West Niagara celebrity watchers might want autographs from members of Fonthill’s E.L. Crossley Secondary School marching band.
The performers are sharing the bill with the famed country singer and a lineup of superstars at this year’s Santa Claus Parade in Toronto.
The kids from E.L. Crossley are joining seven other marching bands that were asked to participate, joining Parton and celebrities such as Kelly Clarkson, Sam Smith, and Meghan Trainor.
Like many festivities this year, Toronto’s parade was adjusted to accommodate for COVID-19 safety concerns. This year, it will be broadcasted on TV, with many of the performances being pre-recorded, including the kids at E.L. Crossley.
The parade will be broadcasted on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. on CTV & CTV2 channels.
