Ontario Premier Doug Ford said earlier Friday, from Queen’s Park in Toronto, he will announce new COVID-19 tier movements and measures on Monday afternoon at 1 p.m. But the Ontario government posted the changes above late in the day.
He also recorded a video Friday (see below) saying: “The trends we’re seeing throughout Ontario were very, very concerning …I’ve asked for an emergency meeting with all CEOs of all hospitals in Ontario. I want to listen to what’s happening on the ground within the hospitals, within ICU units.”
He said he will attend an emergency meeting over the weekend.
“We’re asking for your support without all 14 .5 million people in this province, we will not be able to get through it ourselves, but with all of your support, we will get through this and we will come out better on the other end,” he said.
