On March 20, 2025, members of 3 District (Welland/Pelham) Street Crime Unit, 3 District uniform officers, 1 District (St.Catharines/Thorold) CIB, in collaboration with Stratford Police Service, Waterloo Police Service, Hamilton Police Service and York Police Service, actively investigated the whereabouts of the suspect resulting in a search warrant being executed at a residence in Markham.
