On September 6, 2025, at approximately 7:50 p.m., Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) uniform officers assigned to 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) responded alongside Niagara Emergency Medical Service (NEMS) paramedics for a motor vehicle collision on South Service Road west of Regional Road 24 in the Town of Lincoln.
Initial investigation has determined that a 2010 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was travelling eastbound when the 66-year-old male driver from Lincoln collided with a guardrail.
The driver, who was the sole occupant on the motorcycle, sustained serious injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives assigned to the NRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit have assumed carriage of the investigation. They are being supported by detectives from the NRPS Forensic Services Unit and uniform patrol officers assigned to 8 District. The circumstances related to the cause of the collision remain under investigation.
