On Wednesday December 29th, 2021 at approximately 7:30am, uniform officers with 8 District responded to an active vehicle fire in the area of Krick Road south of Elcho Road in the Township of West Lincoln.
Once the flames were extinguished it was observed that the vehicle contained a deceased person.
The investigation remains ongoing with detectives with 8 District, the Office of the Coroner and the Ontario Fire Marshall.
