Detectives investigating Following St. Catharines Bank Robbery

At approximately 11:30 am on Monday October 31, 2022, 1 District (St. Catharines) Uniform officers were called to the TD Bank on Queen Street in the City of St. Catharines following the report of a robbery that had just occurred.

The initial investigation has determined that a male suspect entered the bank and demanded cash from the teller.  The suspect received an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency and fled the bank.

A NRPS K9 Unit attended the area but was unable to locate the suspect.

No one in the bank was physically injured.

The suspect is described as:

–            Older White male

–            Approximately 5’8” tall with a medium build

–            Wearing a black hoodie with brown sunglasses and grey sweatpants

This robbery remains under investigation by detectives from the 1 District detective office.  Anyone with information is asked to call 905-688-4111, extension 1009964.
