On Monday, September 1, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m. uniform members of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) assigned to 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) responded to the area of Victoria Avenue and Canborough Road in the Town of Pelham for a stolen vehicle call for service.
The initial investigation determined that between August 31 and September 1, 2025, a custom 1972 Chevrolet C20 pickup truck was stolen from a residential detached garage. The vehicle, bearing Ontario license plates CZBP 252 (front and rear), is distinctive due to its historic status, two-tone red and white paint scheme, and spoked chrome rims.
The investigation has been assigned to detectives with 8 District Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB). Detectives are seeking dashcam, cellphone, or other surveillance footage recorded in the area between 9:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. that may assist in the investigation.
