On Tuesday, July 30th 2024 at approximately 5:27 am, 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service attended the area of Galbraith Street and Pelham Road in the City of St. Catharines in response to a vehicle fire.
Investigation revealed that three suspects attended the driveway of a residence in this area at 5:19 am. All were dressed in dark clothing at the time of the incident. The three suspects approached a parked vehicle, smashed its window and then set the car on fire using an unknown substance. The suspects then left the area on foot at 5:21 am.
1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) detectives have taken carriage of the investigation.
