On October 31st, 2022, at 9:25pm Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) officers assigned to 5 District (Fort Erie) responded to a residential address located in the area of Catherine Street and Central Avenue, in the Town of Fort Erie regarding a suspicious person.
Upon arrival, officers learned this was the second night in a row that a suspicious adult male attended the residence to inquire if a child arrived home safely after having attended a local park with friends. The child is believed to have been followed home by the suspicious adult male from the Sugar Bowl Park, located on Central Avenue near Gilmore Road, in the Town of Fort Erie.
When questioned by the parent of the child, the adult male identified himself as “Patrick” and is described as follows:
– Male
– White
– 25-35 years
– 160lbs
– Brown hair
– Brown beard
– Wearing a baseball hat
– Wearing blue jeans
– Wearing a green jacket with the words “COMMUNITY WATCH” on the front.
He was last seen riding a grey mountain bike.
Detectives have assumed carriage of the investigation and have reason to believe the adult male is frequenting the Sugar Bowl Park area located on Central Avenue, in the Town of Fort Erie.
Area residents who reside near Catherine Street, Central Avenue, and/or the Sugar Bowl Park area are encouraged to review their CCTV footage.
