On October 11th, 2022, with significant assistance from members of the public, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) detectives assigned to 5 District (Fort Erie) located the pick-up truck and identified the driver.
Detectives can confirm the driver had no ill intentions. As no criminal offence has been committed, the investigation is now closed.
The Niagara Regional Police Service would like to take those who contacted the lead detective with information that resulted in the closure of this incident.
