5 District (Fort Erie) uniform officers and detectives from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) have been investigating five break and enters that occurred in the Town of Fort Erie.
The break and enters occurred at commercial properties in Fort Erie between June 27 and August 6, 2024. The suspect broke into three commercial locations causing damage (returned to two locations) and stealing items from within.
The suspect stole power tools ($1500), copper wiring ($4000), candy ($300) and vending machine cash ($1100). Damage associated to the five incidents is estimated at close to $10,000.
5 District detectives were assigned to the investigation and a suspect was identified. Greg Nathaniel Tarantini (44 yrs.) of Fort Erie is wanted for the following Criminal Code offences:
• Break Enter and Commit Theft (5 Counts)
Tarantini is described as:
White male 6’02 tall, 170 lbs. slender build Light complexion Brown short hair Blue eyes Brown / red goatee Tattoos Right upper arm – Demon face Left upper arm – Dragon in sun Right shoulder – Alien Abdomen – Grim Reaper Right calf – Two clowns Head – Maple leaf

His current clothing description is unknown.
Tarantini’s current location is unknown. He knows he is wanted and is believed to be taking steps to evade arrest. He is suspected to be in the Niagara Region. Anyone who may know Tarantini’s location or who spots him is asked not to confront him but to contact the police. Person’s hiding Tarantini may be subject to a criminal investigation.
Detectives have executed a Criminal Code search warrant related to this investigation at a residence in Fort Erie. A large quantity of stolen property believed to be related to further Fort Erie break and enters has been located. Detectives are examining the property and will contact the property owners at a later time. Further charges are expected.
