Further Charges Related to Ongoing Investigation in the City of Welland

As a result of continued investigation by Detectives from the 3 District (Welland/Pelham) detective office, an additional 27 charges have been laid against Sean MEZO.

These offences are alleged to have occurred between May 4, 2024 and August 29, 2024 in the Cities of Welland and St. Catharines. The photo and name of the accused was previously released by police in the interest of public safety in an attempt to identify other potential victims or witnesses.

The accused is now facing the following additional charges:

Breaking and Entering with intent to commit an indictable offence (6 counts) Trespassing or Prowling at Night Near Dwelling (7 counts) Voyeurism (14 counts)

MEZO has been in custody since August 29, 2024, with his next scheduled court appearance being Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the Robert S.K Welch Courthouse located at 59 Church Street in the City of St. Catharines.
