Shoppers Drug Mart in Grimsby, at the Grimsby Square location, has a limited supply of the Astra Zeneca vaccine as of Tuesday.
People 55 years can book an appointment directly through the store’s website at Shoppersdrugmart.ca.
There are 15 pharmacies across Niagara that have a stock of the vaccine including at least one in Smithville. The Smithville RX Guardian pharmacy is taking bookings at this website: https://rxdrugmartsmithville.medmeapp.ca/schedule/
On the Shopper’s Drug Mart website it says:
- This COVID-19 vaccine request form is only for individuals looking to receive their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
- If you have already received your first dose, your vaccine provider will contact you when you are eligible to receive your second dose.
- Vaccinations are available by appointment only.
- The vaccine is free for all Canadians, funded by the government.
- The vaccine will be administered by one of our injection-certified Pharmacy Professionals.
