The investigation into the September 6, 2023, stabbing death in Niagara Falls has been ongoing by detectives from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Homicide Unit.
In the late evening of September 7, 2023, the suspect attended the NRPS Headquarters on Valley Way in Niagara Falls and surrendered to officers.
Devon Keneer (31 yrs.) of Kitchener has been arrested and charged with the Criminal Code offence of:
Second Degree Murder Sec. 235(1)
Keneer was held in custody for a video bail hearing to the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines on September 8, 2023.
