The Town of Lincoln has moved their town hall proceedings online during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Members of the town cannot still see proceedings, as the meetings will be broadcast on the Town of Lincoln’s Youtube Channel. Lincoln residents can also apply to appear in as an electronic delegation to share issues or concerns they may have with regard to council business.
Electronic delegations will take place by video conferencing or by telephone. Delegates will have up to five minutes to address any issues or concerns. Delegates, as well as other residents, can also express their concerns through written correspondence (emailed to [email protected]) by 12 p.m. on the Friday before the meeting.
To apply for electronic delegations during council and committee meetings, residents must apply through an online application form or by email ([email protected]) or by phone at 905-563-2799 Ext. 513. This must be done by 12 p.m. on the Friday before the meeting.
For electronic delegations during public meetings and adjustment hearings, residents must sent an email to [email protected] or call 905-563-2799 Ext. 241. This, too, must be done by 12 p.m. on the Friday before the meeting. These cannot be shown during the meeting but will be shared with the council and committee members and will be published on the Town’s website at https://lincoln.ca.
The next meeting will be “Committee of the Whole – Budget” held July 29.
Additional upcoming meeting and committee dates are available on the town’s website: https://lincoln.ca/calendar.
