Male and Female Arrested Following Robbery in Niagara Falls

On December 1, 2021 at approximately 8:05pm, 2 District (Niagara Falls) uniform officers attended a Motel in the area of Main Street and Allendale Avenue, in the City of Niagara Falls in response to a robbery.

Investigation revealed that a 27 year old female and a 24 year old male were staying in a room at this location.  At one point, the male attempted to re-enter his room after going for a walk, however the door would not unlock and the female inside would not let him in.

As a result the male got let in by management at which point an unknown male presented himself from inside the room with a knife and threatened the 24 year old male. The victim was able to get away where he lock himself in the bathroom and contacted police.

While the victim was in the bathroom, the suspect stole multiple items from the victim then fled the area with the female prior to police arrival.

Officers searched the area and were able to locate both parties who were still in the immediate area and placed them under arrest.

Officers seized the following as a result of search incident to arrest:

8.8 grams of fentanyl, 3.4 grams of crystal meth, and 2 Percocet’s.

Peter Blaker (36 years old) of Niagara Falls, was arrested and charged with the following offences of:

Uttering Threats Robbery Possession of a schedule I substance of trafficking

Blaker was held in custody pending a bail hearing that is expected to take place on December 2, 2021.

Kayla Wade (27 years old) of Thorold was arrested and charged with the following offence of:

Robbery

Wade was released on a Form 10 – Undertaking with a future court date.
