On May 4, 2023, detectives from the 5 District – Fort Erie office of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) were attempting locate and arrest a wanted female.
Detectives located a black 2018 Ford Mustang (ONT. 50YOTE) driving on Garrison Road near Kraft Road in Fort Erie. The Ford had been linked to wanted female Zeanka Havtur (29 yrs.) of no fixed address. The Ford stopped at a plaza and the male driver entered a store. Havtur was seated in the front passenger seat. The male driver identified as Colin Todd (38 yrs. – Port Perry ON.) returned to the Ford and it was then blocked in by the police vehicle. Todd and Havtur were ordered out of the Ford but refused. Todd suddenly accelerated the Ford causing it to jump over a cement parking curb, and onto a grassy area. Todd continued accelerating as he went over a hill, sidewalk and onto the roadway. Once onto the roadway Todd accelerated and fled at high speeds putting the public as risk in the urban area. Out of a concern for public safety officers did not pursue the Ford.

Break Enter and Commit Theft of Motor Vehicle Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000 Fail to Comply with Release Order (3 Counts)
Todd and Havtur are believed to be together. Any member of the public who spots the couple or has information as to their location is asked not to confront them but to call the local police.
