Detectives from the 1 District (St. Catharines / Thorold) detective office continue to try and locate Nicholas Adamson who went missing on March 17, 2022.
The investigation has been able to locate photos of Nicholas from the night he went missing (see below).
Detectives are requesting members of the public with business / residences in the south end of St. Catharines (Merritton) and the adjacent neighbourhoods of Thorold to check their properties, out buildings and sheds for any sign that Adamson may have been in the area.
Anyone (residents or businesses) in the area with closed circuit security cameras, doorbell video cameras, or dash cameras are asked to review their footage for the early morning hours of March 17, 2022.
Anyone who may have information as to his whereabouts are being asked to contact the NRPS Communications Unit at 905-688-4111.
Members of the public who wish to provide information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-8477. Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to persons who contact the program with information which leads to an arrest.

The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) is currently conducting a missing person investigation in the City of Thorold.
1 District NRPS officers are searching for Nicholas ADAMSON (29 years of age). He was last seen in the early morning hours on Thursday March 17th, 2022, in the area of the Moose & Goose located at 54 Paul De Divitiis Sr. Way, in the City of Thorold.
Nicholas is described as:
– Male
– White
– 5’10” tall
– 140 lbs
Last seen wearing:
– Blue jeans
– White shirt with collar
Both the police and Nicholas’s family are concerned for his welfare.
1 District (NRPS) detectives have exhausted all investigative avenues and are asking the public for assistance. Anyone who may have information as to his whereabouts are being asked to contact the NRPS Communications Unit at 905-688-4111.
