Niagara Catholic announced the following 19 COVID cases at its schools that have been confirmed by Niagara Region Public Health during the spring break.
The cases listed below are as of 5 p.m. yesterday.
- Alexander Kuska Catholic Elementary School in Welland – two cases
- Father Hennepin Catholic Elementary School in Niagara Falls – two cases
- Notre Dame Catholic Elementary School in Niagara Falls – one case
- Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Niagara Falls – one case
- St. Augustine Catholic Elementary School in Welland – five cases
- St. Patrick Catholic Elementary School in Niagara Falls – one case
- St. Patrick Catholic Elementary School in Port Colbourne – one case, no risk of
- exposure to the school community
- St. Philomena Catholic Elementary School in Fort Erie – one case
- Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School in Grimsby – one case, no risk of
- exposure to the school community
- Denis Morris Catholic High School in St. Catharines – one case
- Notre Dame College School in Welland – one case
- Saint Michael Catholic High School in Niagara Falls – one case
- Saint Paul Catholic High School in Niagara Falls – one case
All affected students and staff required to self-isolate are now in self-isolation, on the direction of Niagara Region Public Health.
Spring break runs this week and ends Friday. Students return to online learning on Monday.
