In January 2023, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) street crime detectives assigned to 2 District (Niagara Falls / Niagara-on-the-Lake) commenced an investigation into the distribution of illegal drugs throughout the City of Niagara Falls.
During the evening hours on January 3rd, 2023, detectives received judicial authorization to execute a search warrant inside a rented motel room located on Lundy’s Lane between Kalar Road and Montrose Road, in the City of Niagara Falls. As a result of the investigation two individuals have been arrested. In total, detectives recovered 180 grams of fentanyl, 485 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 56 grams of cocaine, and 473 grams of marihuana. The combined estimated value of all seized drugs is $44,250.00. In addition, detectives also seized $1,235.00 of Canadian currency believed to be acquired through the proceeds of crime.
Gord Angelo COLLUCCI (53 years) of Niagara Falls has been arrested and charged with the following criminal offences:
• Possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
• Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
• Possession of cannabis for the purpose of distributing
• Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
• Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
Loretta MONTGOMERY (63 years) of Niagara Falls has been arrested and charged with the following criminal offences:
• Possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
• Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
• Possession of cannabis for the purpose of distributing
• Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
• Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
Both CULLUCCI and MONTGOMERY have been released on Form 10 Undertakings. They are both scheduled to attend court on March 9th, 2023, at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse located at 59 Church Street, in the City of St. Catharines.
