Ramada Plaza in Niagara Falls Niagara Region Public Health are seeking attendees of a Halloween part at Ramada Plaza in Niagara Falls for COVID-19 contact tracing.

Niagara Region Public Health is seeking attendees of a Halloween party at a Niagara Falls hotel to contact its staff to help with contract tracing efforts.

The party was held on Saturday, Oct. 31 at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham at 7389 Lundy’s Lane in Niagara Falls. Contract tracing has been underway, but those who attended the party and have not yet been contacted by NRPH are asked to call the COVID-19 info line for important information.

“We are aware of at least one case associated with this event, and therefore need to assess all attendees as possible contacts at risk of infection. We have been unable to acquire a complete attendee list from the case and contacts with whom we are already connected, and so needed to make a public request for those attendees to contact us,” said NRPH spokesperson Meredith Maxwell.

You can reach NRPH by calling 905-688-8248 or 1-888-505-6074 (press 7) or messaging through the live chat (found here). The line is available Monday to Friday 9:15 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 9:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

The Niagara Region said everyone that attend parties and social gatherings increase the likelihood of community spread of COVID-19. It urges people in the region to limit social interactions with members outside of their household.
