NRPS Detectives Investigating the Theft of 44 Golf Carts in Lincoln

On November 15, 2022, 8 District – Grimsby uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service were dispatched to a theft incident in Lincoln.

Officers attended Rockway Glen Estate Golf Course/Winery located at 3290 Ninth St. in the Town of Lincoln.  The initial investigation determined that 44 golf carts had been stolen from the property by unknown suspect(s) between November 14, 2022, after 11pm and November 15 at 6:00am.

The stolen golf carts are white 2020 EZGO Tempo Golf Carts (2 seats) with stock rims/tires, beige seats, individually valued at $10,000 CDN (See photo).

Suspect(s) are believed to have driven each of the stolen carts 2 km across the course, cut a fence, and onto a vineyard service road where a transport vehicle(s) was believed to be waiting in the area of Ellis Ave and Eleventh Street.

8 District detectives have been assigned to the investigation.  Anyone with information is asked to call 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009935.

Anyone (residents or businesses) in the area with closed circuit security cameras, doorbell video cameras, or dash cameras are asked to review their footage for suspicious activity for the period between November 14, 2022, after 11pm and November 15 at 6:00am.
