On November 1, 2023, at 8:50pm, 8 District (Grimsby / Lincoln / West Lincoln) uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to a report of a commercial armed robbery in the Town of Lincoln (Beamsville).
Officers attended Hey Bud on Greenlane in the Town of Lincoln. The initial investigation determined that a male had entered the business and brandished a black handgun and demanded money. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled the area in a dark-coloured Chevrolet single cab pickup truck. The pickup truck had chrome wheels. The employees were not physically injured.
8 District detectives have been assigned to the investigation. The suspect in this robbery is believed to also be responsible for two earlier November 1, 2023, armed robberies at the Coastal Kitchen Bar and Home Hardware on King Street in the Town of Lincoln.
The suspect is described as:
White male Approximately 35 years old 6 feet tall Approximately 175 lbs.
The suspect was wearing:
Black tennis shoes with a white swoosh Blue jeans Black “Carhartt” style coat Blue jean jacket Black toque
Anyone who knows or recognizes this suspect is asked to call the police. He should not be confronted as he is believed to be armed and dangerous.
