On Sunday November 6, 2022, at approximately 9:56am 2 District – Niagara Falls uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to a report of a stabbing incident in the south end of Niagara Falls.
Officers arrived on scene at the Tim Horton’s parking lot on McLeod Road at Dorchester Road. Officers located a male and female victim (both in their 20s). The male victim was suffering from a serious stab wound. He was treated at the scene by Niagara Emergency Medical Service paramedics and Niagara Falls Fire Services. The male victim was transported to a local hospital with what is believed to be nonlife threatening injuries. The female victim was also transported privately to a local hospital for further assessment and care after being punched multiple times.
The initial investigation determined that the victims had become involved in an argument with a male suspect while in the drive thru. The disagreement escalated and became physical. The parties were not previously known to each other. After the incident, the suspect fled the scene in a black 2010 Audi Q5. The suspect and his vehicle were spotted a short time later near Queenston Street and Eastchester Avenue in St. Catharines. The suspect ran from the area on foot.
