On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at approximately 8:00 pm, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) Uniform Officers responded to the area of Carlton Street and Sunnylea Drive for a stabbing. Responding officers located a 32-year-old male victim with significant injuries consistent with an edged weapon. The victim was transported to an out-of-region hospital for treatment by Niagara Emergency Medical Services (NEMS).
As a result of the investigation, 25-year-old Drezden TREMBLAY was arrested and charged with the following criminal offences:

TREMBLAY has been held in custody pending a bail hearing which will take place on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse, located at 59 Church Street, St. Catharines, Ontario.
